Rita Ora delivers pro-EU message - on her knickers
Now why didn’t David Cameron think of this back in June, eh?
Singer Rita Ora has delivered a strong pro-EU message to the electorate – with the aid of a pair of pants.
The 26-year-old made her declaration of love for Brussels in a clip for LOVE magazine’s advent calendar, lip-synching and dancing along to a wartime hit as she’s cloned into three.
At one point the star, dressed up in EU-friendly lederhosen, flashes her knickers to reveal an ‘I HEART EU’ message on the back.
Perhaps if Rita had intervened a little earlier in the year things could’ve turned out different, eh?
Rita’s clip is just the latest in LOVE’s hugely popular video series, which has so far seen Bella Hadid excercising in a leotard to Olivia Newton-John’s ‘Physical’ and supermodel Irina Shayk recreate the potter’s wheel scene from Ghost.
How very, er, Christmassy.
This isn’t the first time Kosova-born Rita’s come out in support of the UK’s membership of the European Union, by the way. Back in June she shared a blurred selfie from the back of a car captioned simply “Moments #VoteIN.”
Last year Rita performed the far more festive Jingle Bell Rock scene from Mean Girls, lip-synching along to the song before launching her own acapella version.
Other celebs lined-up to appear in the calendar this year include Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Jourdan Dunn and Stella Maxwell. Whether they’ll be delivering an pro or anti-EU messages remains to be seen.
