Riviera will return for another series of sex, betrayal and crime.

Sky Atlantic has commissioned a second series of the family drama set against the gorgeous French Riviera, with Julia Stiles reprising her role as art curator-turned-amateur investigator Georgina Marjorie Clios.

In Sky's official announcement, there is no mention that series creator Neil Jordan will return, which isn't surprising since he publicly accused Paul McGuinness of compromising his original vision.

However, Julia Stiles's co-stars Lena Olin (aka Irina Atman), Roxane Duran (aka Adriana Clios) and Dimitri Leonidas (aka Christos Clios) have all officially signed up to join her as Georgina continues to explore the criminal links within the Clios family.

Here's how Sky Atlantic is describing the new series: "Viewers will be transported back to the stunning sun-soaked setting of the Côte D'Azur, to see what lies ahead for the Clios family after the explosively thrilling finale to series one."

Riviera's second series was tipped back in September, when new mum Julia Stiles hinted that she was excited to be bringing her "little newborn to France" again very soon.

Sky Atlantic has also ordered Gangs of London from producer Gareth Evans of The Raid. The series will dramatise the underworld of present day London from the perspective of various power players.

Here's the synopsis: "When the head of a criminal organisation is assassinated, the sudden power vacuum his death creates threatens the fragile peace between the intricate web of gangs operating on the streets of the city."

Gangs of London will be coming to Sky Atlantic in 2019, while Riviera has yet to receive a premiere date.
