Road From Lake Linden Washed Away After Flash Flooding

Roads across Houghton County, Michigan, in the state’s upper peninsula, were washed away on Sunday, June 17, after heavy rain hit the area. This video shows Michigan Highway 26 outside Lake Linden.

Rain started falling on Saturday night and was expected to continue through Sunday. Fox 11 reported four to seven inches of rain had fallen across the area and many roads were impassable, washed away or covered by debris.
