Roads Closed After Flash Floods Hit Southern Oklahoma

Heavy rain sparked flash flooding in southern Oklahoma on Tuesday, September 1, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The NWS said some locations reported up to three inches of rainfall an hour Tuesday morning.

A number of roads were closed in the state due to flooding, according to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
