A dinosaur-themed sleepover is roaring into the halls of the Natural History Museum – and it's just for grown-ups.

Taking place inside the gorgeous, Instagrammable utopia that is Hintze Hall, Dino Snores (what a name) is basically Jurassic Park meets impromptu bender with Charles Darwin and the lads. Heavy promo there, but trust us: the non-stop, 24-hour shindig really is definition of the word epic – expect a night of food, fun, movies and for those who want to, dress up.

So what's on offer? A fancy three course meal, a jaunt through the museum's galleries, bangin' tracks, gin sampling with distiller badboys Sipsmith, stand-up comedy, a pub quiz, gross but fun edible insect tastings and an all-night monster movie marathon. There's even a woman dressed up as a dinosaur playing a harp. No, no – seriously.

Whilst it all sounds like a well worth it throwback to the Cretaceous period, the event doesn't come cheap: tickets will set you back a gut-wrenching £180.

For those that fancy going, the next round of Dino Snores kicks off on September 29, followed by spin offs in November and January. Something to really get your claws into.

Dino Snores is at Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, SW7 5BD. For more information and to book tickets, visit the Natural History Museum's website
