Congratulations may well be in order for Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs.
The couple have been dating for three years, in what has been Pattinson's most significant relationship since he grabbed headlines for going out with The Twilight Saga co-star Kristen Stewart.
Engagement rumours have swirled since several months into his relationship with FKA Twigs but Pattinson has never addressed them - until now.
During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show on Tuesday (July 25), the radio host asked Pattinson directly if he's engaged to the 'Two Weeks' singer-songwriter.
"Kind of," the actor answered, saying no more on this particular subject.
But he went on to say of their relationship: "[The publicity is] one of the most frustrating things in the world, because you want to be able to [kiss], but you get kind of stuck in a position where, like, you have to make the decision.
"Do you want to let, kind of, crazy people in? And so you kind of think, to protect it, I want to create a big boundary between it, but then it makes it difficult for your actual relationship."
Digital Spy has reached out to Robert Pattinson's representatives for clarification on his and FKA Twigs's relationship status.
In the past, both stars have complained about the extent of racial abuse that they've suffered since they began dating in the autumn of 2014.
FKA Twigs has also admitted that she's had a difficult time coping with the intense media scrutiny that comes with dating Pattinson.
"It's really hard," the singer said last year. "I can't begin to explain how awful it is.
"It makes you want to just stop everything sometimes. It makes you want to smash your face into the mirror."
The media scrutiny also had a traumatic impact on Robert Pattinson's former girlfriend Kristen Stewart, who said she shied away from discussing the romance because "details of [her] life were being turned into a commodity".
"When I was dating Rob, the public were the enemy – and that is no way to live," she added.
