The Spice Girls may have reunited — but Rochelle Humes has shut down any hope of S Club 8 following suit.

Humes, now 29 and a TV presenter, found fame at 12 in the junior spin-off of early Noughties pop group S Club 7.

She said of a reunion: “I wouldn’t be there — in the nicest way possible. I was such a young ’un it would be so weird.

“I struggle to remember a lot of it. I’ll go to places and people will say, ‘I saw you here with S Club Juniors’ and I don’t remember.

“I made good friends out of it but in terms of wearing those full-on denim outfits and running around like a kid, I’ll pass on that.”

The group, which changed its name from S Club Juniors to S Club 8, had chart success with hits including One Step Closer before disbanding in 2004.

Humes went on to perform in The Saturdays before becoming a TV presenter.

She is standing in for Holly Willoughby on This Morning and last Friday teamed up with husband Marvin Humes to front Children In Need.

She hinted that the couple, who have two daughters, would be working together again in the New Year. “We’ve been working on stuff,” she said. “But I can’t really talk about it. I find it quite hard [to keep a secret]. Marvin’s good at it — but I’m not.”
