Rochelle Humes has told fans 'we're ready' as her TV return was confirmed while seemingly working on a project in the same studios as This Morning. The presenter has been sharing posts to social media in which she can be seen getting her hair and makeup done before going onto set.

It started on Wednesday (July 10) when Rochelle took to Instagram to reveal she was in the hair and makeup chair and teased on her Story: "The start of a fun 3 days..." At the end of the day, she gave a very cryptic snap of the studio and said: "That's a wrap on day 1."

The former The Saturdays singer has since been sharing more updates with her fans and followers without giving too much away, with one of the latest showing her looking glamourous in a slinky off-the-shoulder red dress that boasted a daring thigh-high split.

In the meantime, it has been confirmed that Rochelle will be returning to This Morning this summer. She is alongside four other presenters who have been seen in the main hosting seat for a while following Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard's appointment as the permanent hosts.

Friday favourites Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary will kick off the packed summer shows from Monday (July 15) before a mix of familiar members of the daytime family will continue to keep summer sizzling on the sofa.

ITV confirmed that Rochelle, Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Rylan Clark and Joel Dommett will all be returning to the famous sofa, plus new mum Sian Welby also making her return to broadcasting since welcoming her baby daughter Ruby in June.

The summer hosts will front the live two-and-a-half hour show from White City’s Television Centre until August 30, before Ben and Cat return to the ITV daytime show on Monday, September 2, and Alison and Dermot return to fronting Fridays as usual on September 6.

A social media video has since confirmed that Alison and Dermot will kick things off before Dermot will host alongside Rochelle. It'll then be over to Josie and Craig to keep the This Morning ship moving before Rylan swaps with Craig and joins Josie.

Rochelle will then be back alongside Joel before Craig returns to round things off alongside Sian. Sharing the video to her own Instagram Story, Rochelle, 35, wrote: "We're ready, now we just need the sunshine."

According to ITV, during the summer weeks, viewers will be taken on a holiday from home with a mix of fun seaside items from across the country, as well as chef John Torode MBE sharing a taste of the Mediterranean and interviews with stars including Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
