If you woke up feeling more content than usual this morning, then it's probably because Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has righted all of the world's wrongs.

Yes, several years after the equally-incredible original, The Rock has recreated that iconic turtleneck photo for Saturday Night Live, and suddenly all is right with the world.

Completely shattering the myth that no-one looks good in a bum bag, The Rock rocked his classic '80s look with untouchable aplomb.

Is it okay that we're irrationally attracted to this? Asking for a friend.

Elsewhere in Rock-related news, the pro-wrestler turned actor revealed that he could soon be adding another string to his bow: President of the United States.

During his opening monologue on Saturday's SNL, The Rock revealed his intention to run for office in 2020 and introduced his running mate as none other than Tom Hanks.

Although the pair were joking when they said they were two of most-loved men in the country, we can't help but think they'd be in with a fighting chance if it actually went ahead.

But if you're more interested in Dwayne as a serious actor, then don't worry – that's still on his agenda, too. Along with fighting Jason Statham.

The Rock teased "the greatest fight in the history of movies" between him and his Fast & Furious co-star last month, as a Hobbs and Shaw spin-off is now almost definitely in the works.
