Ronnie Wood And Wife Sally Welcome Twin Girls

Massive congratulations to Ronnie Wood and his wife Sally Humphreys, who welcomed two adorable little girls into the world last night.

Sally gave birth in London, with it being reported that if the twins had not arrived by the end of the week then the rocker couple were making plans to induce the birth.

Earlier yesterday Ronnie took to Twitter to share a cute photo of himself with his dog alongside the caption “Waiting” and a whole load of baby emojis, in pairs of course, and just last week Sally shared a photo of her huge baby bump on social media, joking that she’d grown a “third arm”.

The names that the couple have chosen for their bundles of joy have not yet been announced, but hopefully Ronnie’s Rolling Stones bandmate Sir Mick Jagger is on standby to sing to the new babies, as Ronnie requested.

The new dad previously told BANG Showbiz that he is considering Mick as a nanny, joking: “Mick told me he’s a good nanny after one year so he can come and sing lullabies to them.

"Sally and I are really excited and I can’t wait to be rocking them to sleep and changing their nappies and going through it all again.”

Ronnie is already father to 39-year-old Jesse with his late ex-wife Krissy Findlay and 37-year-old Leah, 32-year-old Tyron with his ex Jo Wood as well as adoptive dad to 41-year-old Jamie, Jo’s son from a previous relationship.

Congratulations once again - we can’t wait to see a photo!
