Ross Partridge Joins Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’; Sarah Carter In ‘Hawaii-Five-O’

Ross Partridge has been cast opposite Winona Ryder in Netflix’s supernatural period drama Stranger Things (fka Montauk). Described as a love letter to the ’80s classics that captivated a generation, Stranger Things is set in 1980 Indiana, where a young boy vanishes into thin air. As friends, family and local police search for answers, they are drawn into an extraordinary mystery involving top-secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl. Partridge will play Lonnie, the disgruntled albeit charming ex-husband of Joyce (Ryder). Stranger Things is written by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, who also executive produce with Shawn Levy, Justin Doble and Dan Cohen. Partridge, repped by ICM Partners and Weiner Management, recently wrapped Billy Ray’s Secret In Their Eyes and also wrote, directed and starred in the independent film Lamb.

Falling Skies alum Sarah Carter is set as a recurring on the upcoming sixth season of CBS’ Hawaii Five-O. Carter will play Lynn, a nature enthusiast and avid explorer McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin) takes to a remote island on an adventurous first date, where they stumble upon a criminal hideout that puts both of their lives in danger. Carter, repped by APA and Global Creative, wrapped a five-season run on TNT’s Falling Skies and just finished the current season of Rogue in the series regular role of Harper Deakins. She also recurred on CSI: NY, Dirty Sexy Money and Entourage and was a regular on Shark. On the film side, Carter appeared in The Vow opposite Rachel McAdams.
