The Rothesay Classic Birmingham, a prestigious Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tournament, is in full swing for its 42nd year at the Priory Club in Edgbaston.

Since 1982, the international competition has attracted tennis champions and rising stars from across the globe to Birmingham. Wimbledon singles winners, including notable players like Ash Barty and Petra Kvitova, have previously claimed the title ten times.

Running from June 15 to 23, the Rothesay Classic Birmingham promises to be a highlight of the local sporting calendar, with both women's singles and doubles titles up for grabs.

Ticket Information

Tickets are still on sale for both Birmingham centre court and ground admission. Fans can purchase and download tickets on their phone via the LTA ticketing app.

Adult tickets range from £13 to £67, while child admissions cost between £0 and £36.

Getting There

The Edgbaston Priory Club is a five minute drive from Birmingham city centre. For those driving to the venue, parking is available in the Priory School Car Park adjacent to the club, accessible via Sir Harry’s Road.

The public car park opens at 9am, with parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. The fees are £5 per day during the qualifying weekend and £10 per day throughout the main draw. Advanced booking is not available, and payment on-site is card only.

Accessible parking passes are available upon request.

Key times

The competition is running until June 23. Up until Saturday, June 22 the gates will open at 10am and play will start at 11am. Match end times vary however, as they depend on the length of matches. On Sunday, June 23, gates will open at 10am and play will start at 12pm.

Bag Policy and weather

Note that there is no left luggage facility available for use on site and it is not permitted to bring a bag larger than 16” x 12” x 12” (40cm x 30cm x 30cm) into the grounds. All bags brought into the venue are subject to inspection.
