If you have a round face you probably have a good sex life, according to a new study.

People with rounder, wider faces have more active sex lives than those with narrower faces, researchers from Nipissing University in Canada found.

The study showed a positive link between a person’s facial width-to-height ratio (FWHR) and their sex drive.

Those with rounder faces were found to be more sexually motivated and with a stronger sex drive.

The study used 457 male and female participants who were in romantic relationships .

Participants with a higher FWHR and therefore a rounder, wider face reported having a higher sex drive than others.

The link between FWHR and sex drive was the same for both men and women.

But men with rounder faces had more casual attitudes to unattached sex. There was also a correlation between wide-faced men and them being open to cheating.

Lead researcher Professor Steven Arnocky told Eureka Alert: “Together, these findings suggest that facial characteristics might convey important information about human sexual motivations.”
