Tuesday is the bookies' favourite for the arrival of Meghan and Harry's first child.

With Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby due any day now, Ladbrokes has revealed the details of the baby's arrival that punters have been putting their money behind.

The Duchess giving birth on Tuesday, April 23 is the bookies' favourite, which would mean the latest addition to the royal family would share a birthday with their cousin Prince Louis.

People are confident in Meghan having a girl at 4/7, with three in every four bets on the gender favouring the outcome.

The most popular pick for a name is Diana at 6/1, while the favourite is Elizabeth at 5/1. Victoria is another frontrunner at 8/1.

Albert and Philip are both favourites for a boy at 12/1, with James and Arthur behind at 16/1.

As for the time and weight, an afternoon birth (between midday and 5.59pm) is the most popular pick in the book despite being the 5/2 outsider, while punters think Meghan's first will weigh somewhere between 6lb to 6lb 15oz at 3/1.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Royal punters have spoken and we're going with the majority, then Meghan will give birth to a baby girl named Diana on Tuesday afternoon, weighing a healthy 6lb something!"
