RuPaul's Drag Race's UK fans are in for a massive treat in 2019, as the Werq the World live tour returns, bringing with it its biggest ever show.

On May 11, some of the show's most legendary queens will be swapping the runway for Wembley's SSE Arena, where they'll perform for their largest audience yet.

Along with the Wembley show, the tour will also be hitting many more UK cities including Manchester, Bristol, Glasgow, Belfast and Birmingham.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, season 10 winner Aquaria shared her excitement at bringing a brand new show to Drag Race's most loyal fanbase.

"Since this is my first time performing with the tour in every major UK city, it's going to feel like my first day of school again," she said. "But I will feel right at home since these fans are the definition of stans!

"And with this year's show, we're reaching for the stars – of course, it's a bit more literal this time! Can't wait for everyone to see what stunts are being pulled by your favourite queens."

Hosted by Michelle Visage, the all-new production follows a team of intergalactic queens including Aquaria, Asia O'Hara, Detox, Eureka O'Hara, Kameron Michaels, Kim Chi, Monét X Change, Naomi Smalls, Sharon Needles and Violet Chachki.

This time, the queens are on a mission to the sun to save our solar system from a dark entity, intent on harnessing its power.

The audience will be taken on a journey through the universe, experiencing the wonders held by each planet and its regal sovereign, and season 10's Asia O'Hara promises fans will be blown away.

"The 2019 show is going to be like nothing anyone has ever seen," Asia said. "If you think you have experienced everything Drag has to offer, get ready to have your socks blown off. The queens on this tour will stop at nothing to blow you away.

"The UK fans are the absolute best because they will stop at nothing to meet us. Even if it means taking three cars, 27 trains and a donkey to get to our show!"

Season 10 runner-up Kameron Michaels added: "The UK fans always welcome us with open arms and packed theatres, so we can't wait to hear you scream. Make sure you scream – it's like drag queen fuel."

Tickets for all dates are on sale from December 19, with the pre-sale under way now at VossEvents.com.

The announcement comes after it was revealed that the UK will be getting its own version of RuPaul's Drag Race on BBC Three next year.
