Before we got to the main challenge, the queens had to shade each other through the medium of puppets. Following some brutal put-downs aimed at Kate Butch, front-runner Ginger Johnson was crowned the winner of the mini-challenge and tasked with casting.

The acting challenge consisted of pairing up for three parodies: 'Footballers' Wags', (Cara and Michael Marouli), 'Holedark' (Ginger and Kate) and 'Femmerdale' (Tomara Thomas and DeDeLicious).

When filming the scenes with Michelle Visage, Cara was called out for her line delivery, Ginger and Kate were praised for their comedy chops, while Tomara and DeDe were the annuals 'queens who didn't know their lines'.

After the edited videos were screened for Ru, Michelle, Alan Carr and guest judge Joel Dommett and the queens did their runways, Kate's looks were praised for the first time, while Cara, Tomara and DeDe were all told that they delivered good performances despite the initial hiccups.

Ru admitted it would be a tough decision as all performances were good, but there had to be a bottom two, so Cara and Michael had to lip-sync to 'Touch Me (I Want Your Body)' by Samantha Fox.

Cara bowed out of the competition, while Kate Butch won her first RuPeter badge.

"This is an experience I've been dreaming of my whole life, thank you so much," Cara tearfully said to Ru, before quoting her Dionne Warwick Snatch Game performance as her exit line.

Next week, it's the turn 'a civilian into a drag queen' challenge.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK airs Thursday nights at 9pm on BBC Three in the UK and streams on WOW Presents Plus in the US.
