Now that we know exactly which celebs with be slathering on the fake tan and covering themselves in glitter on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, picking the favourites has begun.

The only thing is someone has to be last in the odds and taking it for the team this year is This Morning's Ruth Langsford – and she's pretty embarrassed about it.

Speaking on the ITV show today (August 22), she said: "I'm 66/1! It's embarrassing, I'm at the bottom and we haven't even started yet! It's a bit unfair. What are they judging me on?"

Naturally, husband and co-presenter Eamonn Holmes thought it was pretty funny.

"You could get the sympathy vote," he joked, before telling her he hoped she didn't stay in the competition for too long as she'll be getting in the way of the football season. What a charmer, eh?

She wasn't having any of it though and told him: "No, I'm in it to win it!"

Ruth will have some tough competition on the dancefloor this year.

Joining her will be (take a deep breath): comedian Susan Calman, JLS's Aston Merrygold, Sunday Brunch chef Simon Rimmer, Holby City's Joe McFadden, BBC Radio 4 host Reverend Richard Coles, Emmerdale's Gemma Atkinson, EastEnders star Davood Ghadami and The Saturdays' Mollie King.

Also competing for the Glitterball Trophy will be Alexandra Burke, Debbie McGee and Jonnie Peacock, as well as Holby City's Chizzy Akudolu, Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins and Brian Conley.

Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One in September 2017.
