SAG Awards 2018 dresses: Millie Bobby Brown, Margot Robbie and Nicole Kidman shine on female-powered red carpet

The Screen Actors Guild Awards, otherwise known as the SAG Awards, celebrated its 24th annual awards ceremony last night.

Although the event is one of the newest on the block, it boasted a star-studded guest list including Susan Sarandon, Kate Hudson and Reese Witherspoon.

However, eyes weren't only on the stars themselves, but also on their outfit choices.

In contrast to the Golden Globes, which showcased an all-black dress code in order to support for the Time's Up Movement, the SAG Awards were awash with colour as attendees sported their usual sleek silhouettes in bold and metallic hues.

Although the style stakes were (as always) exceedingly high, Nicole Kidman stood out from the rest of the glamorous crowd in a iridescent Armani Privé gown.

Sequins seemed to be a popular choice on the evening as Brie Larson wore a colourful glitzy Gucci number, meanwhile Lupita Nyong'o stunned in a Ralph & Russo gown.

However, it was Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown who caught everyone's attention with her dazzling ensemble.

Not only was the 13-year-old wearing a stunning pink sequin dress by Calvin Klein, but she chose to ditch heels in favour of a comfy pair of Converse.

Millie wasn't the only A-lister to wear the girly shade, multiple pink hues were also worn by Kristen Bell, Saoirse Ronan and several others - making it the SAG Awards biggest style trend.

Meanwhile, Margot Robbie's dusty pink frock definitely topped the best dressed list.

The Miu Miu number channeled old Hollywood glamour, boasting pearl embellishments and feather detailing.

Although actresses didn't wear black on the red carpet to show support for the Time's Up movement, the evening did show female empowerment in another way.

The ceremony featured a line-up of all women presenters - with Halle Berry, Dakota Fanning, Lupita Nyong'o, Emma Stone, Kelly Marie Tran and Kristen Bell all showing off some serious women power on the stage.
