Sam Thompson was his usually bubbly self as he revealed it was a 'big day' for him after revealing his girlfriend Zara McDermott's one-word remark about his appearance. The couple have been loved-up since they began dating in early 2019, not long after Zara had finished her stint on Love Island.
They did, however, hit a rough patch in late 2019 before Zara admitted the following year she'd been unfaithful and begged her ex-boyfriend to take her back in emotional Made in Chelsea scenes that quickly went viral. In late 2020, the pair reunited and moved in together the following year and have got closer and closer ever since.
They've gained a huge online following as a pair thanks to their hilarious TikTok and Instagram videos with Sam and Zara often being joined by former The Only Way is Essex star Pete Wicks.

But in his latest social media post, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here winner Sam was seen letting Zara loose on his face as she took care of his skin care. "It's a big day for me today," he said to the camera with his locks being pushed back by a multi-coloured bow headband.
Zara was putting on an American accent as she talked through the products she was using. As she got stuck in, Sam asked his other half: "Why are you doing this to me? What did you call me?" to which she quietly said: "Crusty!"
She attempted to defend her comments but Sam reiterated: "She said I was crusty!" Strictly Come Dancing 2023 contestant Zara then replied: "It's better than me saying you look old! I'm just saying you look a bit crusty. It's a surface-level problem..." to which Sam laughed.
He soon got stuck into the influencer-style skin routine video as he joked: "For all the skin routine queens," alongside a string of crying laughing emojis as he asked Zara to talk through the different products she was using.
It comes after the pair were hit by worrying news over their beloved cat. Zara and Sam share ragdoll cats Albus and Cedric, named after Sam's favourite Harry Potter characters. Last week, Zara shared a picture of Cedric, who was in a carry cage with one of its legs bandaged up. "My heart is breaking into a million pieces at the moment," the reality star-turned-presenter started to type to her followers.
She explained: "Just before the weekend while I was away working, Sam woke up to our little man unresponsive and super hot. So he was rushed to the vet and then he was rushed to an emergency animal hospital." After stays in different veterinary hospitals, Zara revealed after her first-ever appearance on The One Show where she chatted about her latest BBC3 documentary that she was able to go a pick up her beloved pet.
On Friday (April 19), Zara returned with a video message on her Instagram Story as she gave the promised update to her fans and followers. "Honestly, he was a bit traumatised. I'm not going to lie, but he's feeling a bit better now. He's definitely very sleepy and wants a lot of rest..."
She continued after showing Cedric with a shaved tummy and shaved patches on his legs: "So the diagnosis is that he has something called neutrophilic/bacterial cholangitis which is an inflammatory liver disease. He's also got a lot of inflammation in his gallbladder, his bile ducts, you could see it all on the ultrasounds that they did on him.
"He's got a lot of inflammation and his liver is not looking all that lovely at the moment but I think with time, he's on a month's course of antibiotics, he's also on some liver support drugs, so he'll be feeling better I hope very soon. He's not doing too badly..." But Zara joked that their other cat, Albus, hasn't been all too happy about Cedric's return and had been "loving life as an only child".
