Samsung Galaxy K pictured ahead of announcement again, slimmer than SGS4 Zoom

The launch event for what is believed to be the successor for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom will take place on Tuesday 29 April in Singapore but if the latest leaked photos are anything to go by, there will be little left to reveal.

Two pictures were posted on Baidu of what is purportedly the Samsung Galaxy K, its phone come camera that was previously doing the rounds as the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom.

If real, the Galaxy K will be considerably slimmer than its predecessor and less chunky. There will still be some girth, required to house the zoom lens, but it definitely looks more sleek in the shots.

The photos show a silicon case on the device, so expect that to be an optional extra, although nothing else is revealed at this time.

Other rumours and leaks suggest that the phone will have a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD display, a six-core Samsung Exynos 5 Hexa SoC processor and 2GB of RAM. The camera is said to use a 20-megapixel sensor and 10x optical zoom. It will also come with a 2-megapixel snapper on the front and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

All will be revealed around 4am UK time next Tuesday.
