Yahoo News Sarah Jessica Parker updates fans on status of Sex and the City 3
Sarah Jessica Parker has some bad news for Sex and the City fans waiting for a third film following the travesty that was the second one.
As reported by Variety, the Carrie Bradshaw actress appeared at the New York Women in Film & Television’s Muse Awards gala luncheon this week where she said that Sex and the City 3 is "not something we are talking about right now".
She added: “I just don’t have a clue."

SJP previously said that she'd only be willing to do a third film if Kim Cattrall (Samantha) was involved, but the latter actress has publicly shot down any attempts at reconciliation.
These latest comments indicate that they've stopped trying to get Cattrall involved in any further movies, and aren't attempting to do the Spice Girls thing of going ahead without getting the whole band back together.
There is another option that creator Darren Star has considered however, as he stated: "I think a reboot of Sex and the City with a different cast, I'm not sure what that would be, but a reboot with the original cast, 100%. I'm there for that."
So, does he mean a reboot led by a new cast with cameo appearances from the originals? Honestly, we'd take that over a third film, especially seeing as there were plans to kill off Mr Big.
