Yahoo News Scarlett Johansson and Margot Robbie feature in ‘incredible’ 38-person fight scene filmed under lockdown
Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie and Florence Pugh are among the actors who appeared to swap punches in an impressively choreographed fight video, organised by stunt performer and actor Zoe Bell.
Titled “BOSS B**** FIGHT CHALLENGE”, the five-minute-long video was filmed under lockdown conditions, with each “fighter” attacking the next.
The video begins with Bell, who rose to prominence for her stunt work in Xena: Warrior Princess and Kill Bill, saying: “So bored! I just want to play with my friends.”
She then launches a kick in the direction of the camera. Xena star Lucy Lawless then reacts as if struck, before launching an attack of her own, which “lands” on stunt performer Tara Macken, who goes flying.
Also featured in the video are Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Rosario Dawson, Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Phileadelphia), Zoe Saldana (Guardians of the Galaxy), Halle Berry, Thandie Newton (Westworld) and musician KT Tunstall, alongside more than twenty others.
On YouTube, Bell captioned the video by saying: “Kicking lockdown boredom with some of the coolest! Ladies, you are all my hero’s.”
People have reacted positively to the clip online, with Twitter users commenting that it was “amazing” and “incredible”.
“There was some truly awesome editing in there. I saw flashes of the work you and others did in Kill Bill and it looked great!” wrote one commenter.
