Scarlett Moffatt slams Zayn Malik: 'I hope people realise what a d*ckhead he is!'

Yikes.

She made a name for herself as one of Gogglebox’s most-opinionated cast members, giving her two cents on any and every TV show and their stars.

So it’s unsurprising that Scarlett Moffatt also has a lot of opinions when it comes to the celebrity world, with Zayn Malik fans being left stunned after she unleashed a scathing attack on the former One Direction star in her book, Scarlett Says.

In an extract about Zayn’s high profile split from his gorgeous Little Mix fiancee, Perrie Edwards, Scarlett rants that she hopes that Zayn’s solo career fails and that people realise what a “d*ckhead” he is.

Erm… So we take it that she’s Team Perrie then?

According to Reveal magazine, Scarlett wrote: “He acted like such a tw*t. I hope people realise what a dickhead he is, and that his music bombs.

“Seriously, who does he think he is?”

Perrie made no secret of her heartache after Zayn suddenly dumped her shortly after quitting One Direction, admitting in Little Mix’s autobiography: “It was horrible, the worst time in my life. A four-year relationship, two-year engagement ended by a simple text message. Just like that.

“Even though things in my career were going really well, it was incredibly difficult for me.”

However, Zayn also gave his take in his own book, sharing: “It was March 2015, I had been in a bad place for a while and I didn’t see myself getting out of it unless I made a change.

“My relationship with my fiancée, Perrie, was breaking down. To make matters worse, there were so many crazy stories flying around in the newspapers about us, and it felt like such an invasion of privacy, it made me just want to disappear for a while.”

Thankfully all’s well that ends well and Perrie is now loved up with footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Zayn with supermodel Gigi Hadid, and neither have commented on Scarlett’s surprising rant… Yet.
