He's already played pitch side at St James' Park, as well as on the back of a truck outside The Gate while dressed as Santa and now DJ Schak will cement his Newcastle icon status even further by taking over a branch of Greggs in the city for a massive rave to celebrate the launch of his new single.

Now a global star, thanks to sets in Ibiza and Australia, as well as a packed out stint at legendary festival Creamfield and a sell out show on home turf, where he sent bank notes with his face on into the crowd, Schak is busy promoting his new track Yesterday, which is out soon and available to pre-order.

And he's going all out for its launch, by taking over a branch of Greggs for a huge party, which will see him joined by producer Will Atkinson and vocalist on the track, Abi Flynn. The rave, at the still secret location, will happen on Tuesday, May 7, with Schak revealing all on Instagram early on Thursday evening.

Sharing a video of him and Will tucking into pasties, Schak tells Will they need to do something 'mental' for the single launch, as he then quips: "Sometimes the best ideas are staring right in front of you."

Tickets for the Greggs rave are very limited and to be in with a chance of being there, you need to pre-order Yesterday HERE.

Once you’ve pre-saved the track you’ll be taken to a sign up page where you’ll be able to register for a ticket. There’s an extremely limited amount and it will be first come first served.
