Edinburgh officers stopped a delivery driver on Saturday after making a vital discovery while on patrol.

Road Police were carrying out investigations in the city centre on May 25, before pulling over the moped food delivery driver. It comes as officers continue to crackdown on road crime.

The rider was spotted driving within a bollard section of a cycle lane and it's hoped they 'wanted to avoid the traffic'. A conditional offer of fixed penalty was then issued, reports Edinburgh Live.
