Laura Anderson, known for her stint on Love Island, has lambasted her ex-boyfriend and actor Gary Lucy, accusing him of not seeing their daughter in months.

Laura, who shot to fame after appearing on ITV2's hit show, had a brief but passionate affair with the 42-year-old Hollyoaks star after they met on Channel 4s Celebs Go Dating.

The whirlwind romance resulted in pregnancy and baby Bonnie arrived in September last year. Despite their rocky on-off relationship, the couple seemed to put aside their differences around the time of Bonnies birth, only for the relationship to be eventually called off.

Never one to keep quiet, the 34-year-old TV star criticised the soap actor openly on social media this April, alleging he hadn't seen their baby girl for several months. Sharing an emotional post as she played with Bonnie in her nursery, Laura stated candidly: "How anyone could go without seeing or supporting their child is beyond me. I love you, Bonnie Rose."

Fast forward to now, she took another swing at Gary while replying to a follower online. The fan queried if Bonnie was still seeing her dad, prompting Laura to respond tartly: "Do you mean has her daddy seen her....No, he hasn't since 2nd January if you would like to direct those questions to him as I have no control over the actions of others."

When approached by The Mirror for comment, Gary's representatives did not immediately respond. But it's worth remembering that Gary posted a compilation of clips featuring all his children after the first round of criticism from Laura in April, reports the Mirror.

The actor is also dad to four other kids India, 18, Elvis, 12, Sadie, seven, and four year old Theodore from his previous marriage to ex-spouse Natasha Gray.

Fans were quick to comment, with one saying: "Bonnie is another pickle she is absolutely adorable and needs her daddy too. Honestly I know what it's like growing up without my dad even though I knew he was out there... he chose not to be interested, It's so so hard through life... she needs you."

While Gary didn't directly reply to the comments, he did share a telling quote on his Instagram stories: "When you discover your self-worth, you lose interest in anyone who doesn't see it."

In an exclusive with The Mirror, Laura who's just nabbed her 'dream job' at Capital Radio opened up about the unexpected journey of single motherhood but remains resolute in her commitment. She shared: "I think it was hard to get my head around initially, it wasn't what I expected. But that's the cards I was dealt in the end. Of course, I'm going to make it work for my child, even more so. I feel like I'm a really good mum, to be honest."
