Scream 5 confirms release date with Ghostface teaser
Scream 5 is officially coming to cinemas on January 14, 2022, it's been announced.
The iconic slasher franchise is being resurrected following 2011's Scream 4 and will welcome back David Arquette's Deputy Dewey Riley and Courteney Cox's Gale Weathers.
Will it kill it at the box office? Only time will tell.

The confirmation came via Twitter, as the movie's official page uploaded a graphic of serial killer Ghostface.
Signing off with a screaming emoji, the caption teased: "On January 14, 2022... We're going to hear you SCREAM."
Sidney Prescott star Neve Campbell is not yet officially confirmed to return, but is said to be in talks.

Meanwhile, Arquette recently confessed that his least favourite sequel was Scream 3, explaining: "We had to throw the script out at the beginning. They were rewriting the whole time. We'd get pages like on the day of shooting.
"It was just kind of all over the place. It's interesting and it's funny but it's a different tone from the rest."
The actor went on: "My favourite is Scream 1, just because that's where it all started and it was such a surprise how the audience loved it so much. And getting to work with Wes [Craven, the late director] for the first time was a real dream come true."
Scream 5 will stalk cinemas on January 14, 2022, while Scream is available now on Amazon Prime and the original trilogy is also on Blu-ray and DVD.
