Welcome to the Dead Boy Detectives agency, as the supernatural sleuthing series just dropped on Netflix. But, we need to know, will there be a second season?

The series follows Edwin and Charles, two teenage ghosts who work alongside a clairvoyant to solve mysteries for their supernatural clientele, until a powerful witch comes along and complicates their plans.

It dropped on the streaming platform on 25th April, and if you've already binge-watched the entire thing, then from the cast to rumoured plot, here is everything you need to know about season two of Dead Boy Detectives.

Will there be a Dead Boy Detectives season 2?

So, there's no word from Netflix on if there will be a second season of Dead Boy Detectives or not just yet.

But, seeing as the series only just dropped on the platform, we might have to wait a little longer to hear more about if the detective agency will open its doors once more. Fingers crossed!

Who might the cast of Dead Boy Detectives season 2 be?

We can't have a second season of Dead Boy Detectives without the detectives themselves, plus their sleuthing side-kicks, so we would expect George Rexstrew and Jayden Revri to return to play Edwin and Charles for played by for season two.

As for Crystal Palace, played by Kassius Nelson, she's off to London with the detectives so we're sure we'll see more of her in a second instalment. As for Niko Sasaki, played by Yuyu Kitamura, we'll have to wait and see!

What might the plot of Dead Boy Detectives season 2?

So, at the end of the series, the amulet Cat King affixed to Edwin has been released meaning he can finally leave Port Townsend and return to London.

But, he also comes out to Charles and admits that he’s in love with him, so we can expect that to develop further in season two.

Edwin and Charles also welcome Night Nurse to the Dead Boy Detectives agency and in the final scene, we are transported to a lonely igloo, where none other than Niko sits by the fire with the two Sprites. Exciting!
