Democratic incumbent Raphael Warnock was at Morehouse College.
He told Channel 2 Action News that his message has not changed after Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto’s win in Nevada that gives Senate control to Democrats.
Warnock said this race is about character and competence and said his opponent, Republican Herschel Walker, does not have those traits.
Walker was in Peachtree City, where he was joined by Republican Sen. Rick Scott, of Florida.
Walker called Warnock a “wolf in sheep’s clothing” who sides with President Joe Biden and is not doing enough to fight inflation.
The runoff in Georgia will be held Dec. 6.
