'Sex gets better as you get older!': This Morning viewers praise 83-year-old sex blogger

An 83-year-old sex blogger earned plenty of new fans on Thursdays’s This Morning. Joyce Williams claimed that sex gets better as you get older, and even accused Phillip Schofield of being ageist.

Williams told Holly Willoughby and Schofield: “It is better. The whole experience gets better.”

“It’s just more relaxed. You’ve had 60 years of experience, you know what you like and you know what you don’t like and don’t mind saying so.

“What’s delightful is that you don’t care anymore about wrinkles, what you’re interested in is twinkles,” she continued.

She even offered some sex advice for the viewers at home, encouraging couples to incorporate sensual massage into their foreplay.

“It’s such a good way of reestablishing contact. ‘It’s so pleasant to massage each other, just that soft stroking, sensual touch, it’s lovely.”

Schofield then asked her about her thoughts on sex toys, to which she replied were ‘lovely.’

“Those are things that make it lovely. When you’re older you know whether you like them or don’t like them,” Williams replied.

Viewers flocked to Twitter to heap praise onto the sex blogger, with many claiming they ‘loved’ her and her sex positivity.

And Williams revealed herself to be quite feisty, accusing Schofield of being ageist.

After Schofield called Williams ‘young at heart’ she quickly clapped back: “Why do you say young? That’s ageist!”

Defeated Schofield replied: “Okay, well I take it back!”

And the exchange didn’t go unnoticed on Twitter. Several revelled in the pensioner telling Schofield off.

Retired Williams is a former physiotherapist, who explained she started her blog, Grandma Williams, after attending a blogging for beginners course.

Her blog ‘explores the modern world at 80 years old’ and includes articles on retirement, country walks and plenty of sex.

Her most read articles include called ‘Seniors need sensuality, satin and a human touch’ and ‘Sex at 70? Sex at 80? Of course!’
