'Shake it For Me': Australian Firefighter Lets Off Steam After Battling Blaze

A New South Wales firefighter made the most of his downtime after a long shift battling the Gospers Mountain bushfire in Wollemi National Park.

In a post on Sunday, November 24, Plumpton Rural Fire Brigade said crew member Bronson Bean provided his team with some welcome entertainment while out fighting the fire three days earlier.

“It’s not often crews get down time while on deployment so they soak up every moment they get. Thank You Bronson Bean for the entertainment,” the Facebook post said.

The Gospers Mountain fire had been burning for a number of weeks and had reached at least 188,500 hectares in size on Monday, November 25, according to the New South Wales Rural Fire Service. Credit: Plumpton Rural Fire Brigade via Storyful
