Shane Ritchie Goes On Twitter Rant - Over A Hat

A word of warning from the people former EastEnder Shane Ritchie – if you value your headgear, stay out of Malvern.

The actor, currently on tour with Laura Whitmore in a production of ‘Not Dead Enough’, was reportedly turned away from a nightclub in the town because he was wearing a hat.

It’s hard to think of a graver miscarriage of justice if we’re being honest.

Furious at the snub, Shane went on an epic Twitter rant that night – urging others to avoid
the club like the plague.

He kicked off by sharing a picture of club and wrote: “Alert ! All touring companies coming to Malvern give Malvern lounge a swerve STAY AWAY !!! Turned away for wearing a hat !!! #d**kheads”.

More people then got in on the act, with a local counsellor taking the OWNERS side in a story that’s rocked Malvern to it’s core: “@realshanerichie does it matter who you are, a rule is a rule and Malvern is a wonderful place !”

Shane replied: “Totally agree but I’d just walked in from out of the cold ….he just wanted to show off in front of staff X.”

Finally, the manager of the bar popped up to apologise.

He said: “This is my bar and I’m so sorry you have had this experience, but being a small business I would appreciate if u removed this tweet.

“Im very angry that this has happened and when I return to the bar questions will be asked!! Sorry again from matt@malvernlounge (sic)”

Will the drama ever end? Will Malvern recover? Who knows.
