Sharon Osbourne returns home to Ozzy in time for Christmas after COVID recovery

Sharon Osbourne has returned back home to husband Ozzy in time for Christmas following her COVID battle.

The 68-year-old isolated away from the Black Sabbath star, 72, after being diagnosed with the virus earlier this month.

Now, the former X Factor judge has shared she'd received two negative results is is "so grateful" to be back at their California home.

Posting a picture of her spouse surrounded by their beloved dogs, Osbourne wrote: “Got the ok to go home after two negative test results and look at the joy waiting for me!

"So grateful to be home for the holidays and thank you all so much for your love and support ❤️ Stay safe and wishing you the happiest of holidays 🤗."

Osbourne had said she was briefly in hospital with the virus.

California is currently being ravaged by another wave of the virus and much of the state is under a stay-at-home order in a bid to quell the outbreak.

One of the granddaughter's she has through son Jack, Minnie, previously tested positive for the virus in September which led to her quarantining for a spell.

Ozzy has previously said it would be risky for him to get coronavirus due to his weak respiratory health.

“I’ve got emphysema, so if I get this virus, I’m f***ed,” he told GQ.

He's battled with health problems in recent years, undergoing spinal surgery last year and revealing earlier this year that he had been diagnosed with Parkin 2, a rare form of Parkinson's disease.
