A shocked father posted a video online after confiscating a series of horror weapons including a “Rambo-style” knife at his 16-year-old niece’s birthday party.

The footage, shared on social media, shows him holding up two knives before unsheathing an enormous blade he claims was taken from a teenage boy.

Faron Paul, 31, told the Standard he was waiting to pick up his 14-year-old daughter from the party in Broad Lane, Tottenham, on Saturday night when he got a call saying around 20 boys were trying to force their way inside.

He said: “My brother phoned me and said there was a problem outside the flat. There were some guys outside with knives in their waistbands.

“They were trying to get into the party but it was full.

“They were rushing the door to get inside.”

Mr Paul said: “I came down and there were 20 guys on the stairway. But I’ve got a bit of a reputation.

“I told them ‘go downstairs, you’re not coming in’.”

The two men then stood guard on the door to make sure the teenagers didn’t come back, but Mr Paul said he discovered one of the boys who had already been inside the party was carrying a huge “Rambo-style” knife.

“When I found that knife I took all the boys in the party and I searched them all. I found three knives.

“All those boys were aged 14 to 16.”

After the shocking find, he recorded a video showing the weapons in a bid to warn people about the dangers their children are facing.

Holding a huge knife up to the camera, he tells viewers: “You’ve got to be looking after your kids.”

The video has been shared thousands of times after he posted it on Facebook, with many people praising him for his actions.

Mr Paul, who claims he has been stabbed multiple times in the past and now wants to warn about the consequences, told the Standard: “One second of your life, one bad decision, can change your life forever.

“If they’re going to stab someone, one family loses someone who died, and another family loses a son who is going to jail.

“They just need to drop it and parents need to be checking up on their kids.”

He went on: “I took three knives off 40 kids from that party. If all of us were to take a stand things couldchange.

“You can deal with your child in a manner like no police officer or stranger can deal with them.”

Mr Paul said he threw the knives in the river to dispose of them but did not call the police.
