Hotter, a chain that specialises in comfort footwear, is opening in the former TSB unit at 32 High Street.

The shop used to be located in Old George Mall.

A sign on the front window of the new shop reads: "Coming Soon. We can't wait to show you our latest collection packed full of stylishly comfortable footwear."

It adds that the shop is looking for a store manager and assistant manager to join the team. Anyone who is "passionate about shoes and customer service" is asked to email retail.recruitment@hotter.com.

Also at the front of the new shop is an application for a license to erect scaffolding or hoarding.

The site has been approved to do so and scaffolding or hoarding will be put up on August 5.

Hotter has been contacted for comment.
