A store has closed down at a busy shopping centre.

Clintons has moved out of a unit at Braehead, with an image taken at the centre showing the signage stripped away and windows covered up.

The British brand was founded in 1968 and is known for selling a range of greeting cards and gifts.

It comes amid many new changes at Braehead which has recently opened new stores.

KIKO Milano opened last month, Bodycare also recently launched and a huge new TK Maxx store opened in late 2023.

Meanwhile, stores have also reopened after undergoing refits, including Holland & Barrett and Ann Summers.

A spokesperson for Braehead said “There are a lot of exciting things happening at Braehead. We have welcomed a host of new stores over the last few months - including Italian cosmetics brand, KIKO Milano, most recently, with others due to announce their arrival in the near future.

“A number of our retailers have also been investing in their offer here  – with Holland & Barrett and Ann Summers opening revamped stores in the last few weeks, for example - reflecting confidence in Braehead as a place to do business.

“We have a number of announcements  in the pipeline and look forward to sharing more good news in the coming weeks.”
