The media mogul is said to be offering the Geordie presenter lifts in his private jet and head massages, and even bringing BGT jester David Walliams along for 'entertainment', according to The Daily Star.
An insider told the publication: “Simon knows that when Ant and Dec are on song, so is the show.”
“Ant has to be his focus as the drama in his private life could be a sideshow. Simon wants to cheer him up and that’s why he’s spoiled him rotten."
The much-loved presenter announced the end of his 11-year marriage to Armstrong, 41, last week, and is reportedly set to hand over £31 million in a bid to keep proceedings out of court.
It has been alleged that make-up artist Armstrong will be working exclusively on Britain’s Got More Talent, the spin-off from the show her estranged husband hosts, to avoid awkward encounters with McPartlin, 42.
A source told The Sun: “Lisa has worked on BGT for years and is keen to continue as normal. She has friends there and enjoys being part of the show.
“She’s generally done Stephen’s make-up and helped other people but this year the plan is for her to work exclusively on the spin-off.
They are all keen to keep things civilised with Ant. It should certainly mean less awkward encounters.”
Meanwhile, the couple could have to share custody of their five-year-old dog Hurley.
The chocolate Labrador is adored by both of them, with Hurley being granted special dispensation to visit McPartlin in rehab last year.
