TV presenter Simon Thomas has tied the knot with his partner Derrina Jebb, nearly four years after the death of his first wife Gemma.

The couple exchanged vows at Norwich Cathedral, with Thomas's son Ethan acting as one of the groom's best men.

The former Blue Peter star, 48, shared photos of their special day to Instagram, including one of him with his bride walking up the aisle captioned: "Love. Wins. 🤍."

He sported a navy suit and white tie while Jebb, 30, wore a white off-the-shoulder gown and veil.

Gemma died in November 2017 just three days after receiving a diagnosis of acute myeloid leukaemia, a blood cancer that affects bone marrow.

Thomas has previously spoken about the moment he told Ethan, who was just eight years old at the time, about his mother's death.

“You can’t dress it up. I just said, ‘Mummy’s died’, and he collapsed on to the floor," he said during an appearance on This Morning in 2018.

"I collapsed with him. I just held him. I would never wish that on my worst enemy."

Thomas posted a picture of his son standing on a chair to deliver a speech at the wedding reception. He wrote: "And I couldn’t have asked for two better best men – my legend of a mate @danjmritchie and Ethan whose speech was just . . . . . well . . . . amazing. We’re so so proud of him."

The couple were congratulated by several famous faces including Angellica Bell, who attended the ceremony, as she commented: "Thank you for letting us share your special day. ❤️."
