Yesterday, we found out that some genius had made a full English breakfast in their slow cooker. And now this…

People are making slow cooker pizzas, and it’s a real game-changer.

Yes, everybody loves ordering a pizza to be delivered right to your front door, but let’s face facts – they’re not that cheap, are they?

Plus, ready-to-cook ones from supermarkets are tasty, and far kinder to your wallet, but it’s nice to say you made something yourself, right?

Well, thanks to the Crockpot/Slow Cooker Recipes & Tips Facebook group, we now have no excuse for not making our own pizzas at home as this idea is so easy.

According to a number of posts on the Facebook group, you simply pop your pizza dough (which you can either make yourself, or buy. No judgement) in the slow cooker, then pile a load of your favourite pizza toppings on top. Start with a tomato sauce and some cheese, then go for your life with onions, peppers, cooked chicken, pepperoni etc etc. The world/slow cooker is your oyster/pizza!

You then simply get that bad boy going for around one and a half hours on low et voila! If you have it on really low, you can even set it going when you leave for work in the morning, and your tea will be ready when you get in.
