Will Smith releases Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion trailer ahead of November 19 premiere
That much-anticipated Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion is on its way – probably even sooner than you thought.
Will Smith and HBO Max confirmed the special will be available on the streaming service next week, premiering on November 19 in the US.
The streamer made the announcement on Friday (November 13) with a teaser trailer, which you can check out above. It gives fans a first look at the gang got back together on the living room set of the iconic Banks family mansion.
Teasing that it's been "30 years in the making", the first look sees Will, Karyn Parsons (Hilary Banks), Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton Banks), Tatyana Ali (Ashley Banks), Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey Butler), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Vivian Banks), and DJ Jazzy Jeff (Jazz) come together to reflect on the beloved sitcom that ran from 1990 to 1996.

James Avery, who played Uncle Phil, passed away in 2013 and is fondly remembered by his co-stars.
Will affectionately described him as a "Shakespearean Beast" and recalled that now iconic scene where he broke down in James' arms after his father on the show abandoned him for the second time.
"I fall into his arms at the end of the scene, and he’s holding me. The shot pans off and he whispers in my ear, 'Now that’s acting,'" Will remembered.
Tatyana also touched on how the show "meant Black excellence" because of the way they "loved each other".

The reunion sees the first meeting between Will and Janet Hubert, who originally played Aunt Viv, in 27 years after a widely-reported feud.
"I couldn't celebrate 30 years without Janet," Will said in the trailer as his co-stars gasp.
In addition to the reunion, Will has also confirmed that US streaming service Peacock has picked up his reimagined reboot for two seasons.
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion will air in the US on HBO Max on November 19. A UK release date is yet to be confirmed, though the show currently airs on Comedy Central UK and is also available on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.
