Snake charmers and Champagne: Soho hosts circus night for charity

If you and your friends are looking for a, well, weird way to contribute to a cause, the Cuckoo Club are hosting their inaugural circus charity extravaganza tonight.

There'll be canapés from pop-up chef, Jimmy Garcia, a chance to rot your gums on endless candy floss and you can watch in fear as fire performers and acrobats abuse their bodies for fun.

The wacky night of booze and body contortion supports Global’s Make Some Noise, an organisation which seeks to provide a voice for small projects across the UK.

Tickets cost £50, which goes to support young families living with illnesses.

Don’t worry: no acrobats will be harmed in the making of this event. At least, we hope not. Fingers crossed.

Things kick off at 9pm and will continue well on into the morning, so grab some fire-resistant spray and head out for a night of the wonderfully odd, daringly bizarre and frighteningly dangerous. Oh, and two hours of bottomless champagne, if that helps.
