Snow Blankets Grand Canyon as Winter Storm Restricts Access

The Grand Canyon National Park reported long lines to enter the park on Saturday afternoon, December 28, after wintry weather led to the earlier closure of 25 miles of State Route 64.

The winter weather restricted access to some national parks in the Four Corners region of the US Southwest on Saturday, including the closure of Bandelier National Monument in northern New Mexico and Arches National Park in southern Utah, local media reported.
