Snow Falls on Woodland Park, Colorado

Light snow showers sprinkled central Colorado on Friday, January 20, as the National Weather Service (NWS) forecast a couple inches of accumulation in the Denver metro area and higher amounts in southeastern parts of the state.

Twitter user @hiracing said he took this video in Woodland Park, northwest of Colorado Springs, on Friday.

The NWS said the southern foothills could expect to receive 1 to 2 inches of snow as “snow showers are very light and will stay light throughout the afternoon and evening.” Southeast Colorado could see up to 7 inches of snow, according to the NWS. Credit: @hiracing via Storyful
