A sudden snow squall passed through Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on January 8, as winter storms brought similar conditions to several states in the northeastern US on Wednesday, according to reports.

The National Weather Service issued snow squall warnings for Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, warning of whiteout conditions and blowing snow.

Passenger Bus Crashes Into Saint Petersburg River
A bus crashed off a bridge and into the Moyka River in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Friday, May 10, with local police saying around 20 people were on board.Local media reported that at least five people died, with four “seriously injured”.
