Someone Actually Brought An ‘Emotional Support Turkey’ On A Plane With Them

Nervous flyers often need a bit of help and comfort when heading up in the air - but one plane passenger apparently brought something a little unexpected on board.

People on board what looks like a Delta Air Lines flight were taken aback by the sight of a live TURKEY that someone had brought along for support.

Pictures of the bird on a wheelchair and on board the plane were posted onto Reddit by user biggestlittlepickle, who wrote: “My neighbour is a flight attendant.

Dinner: The turkey’s fate may not have been a happy one (Facebook)

“He just posted this photo of someone’s ‘therapy pet,’ on his flight.”

However, the picture was uploaded on January 10 and it seems as though it was taken from a fight one week before.

Instagram user marlenasoul posted her own pictures of the bird on January 3, seemingly confirming that the support turkey is actually real.

She wrote: “Emotional Support Turkey?!?! GTFOH with that. I would not be able to sit next to it!!!!!”

Facebook user Maria Cruces seems to have worked for the airline, claiming to have given the bird its wheelchair - and hinted that its fate was sealed.

She wrote: “I also think it’s dinner.

“Everyone kept staring at this turkey… Unbelievable!”

No word on how the turkey provided emotional support for the flight - presumably it gobbled some words of wisdom…
