Twitter user posts 'BFF Goals' in response to Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli's wedding photo
Orange Is the New Black star Samira Wiley and writer Lauren Morelli got married at the weekend and the photographs quickly surfaced on Twitter.
The snap of the newlyweds in their custom Christian Siriano outfits soon went viral after it was posted by US magazine MEFeater, following the couple's lavish ceremony, officiated by Wiley's parents.
While the photo was re-posted almost 19,000 times by fans, it seems that not everyone was keen to share the love from the newlyweds' big day.

One user, called VeganMegan, seemed to have entirely missed the point of the situation, writing: "Getting married on the same day as my best friend is absolutely bff goals!"
.@mefeater getting married on the same day as my best friend is absolutely bff goals!😍
Are there any pics of how their husbands look like?👰💐— VeganMegan (@pickedupfloozy) March 26, 2017
A fellow tweeter was quick to try and explain to VeganMegan that Wiley and Morelli aren't bffs, they're wives. And no, there aren't any pictures of their nonexistent husbands.
@pickedupfloozy @mefeater nonexistent...they aren't best friends...they're wives. 😂

VeganMegan responded with the hashtag #BFFgoals, commenting that if the stars "weren't friends before, they must friends now."
@pickedupfloozy @mefeater they're gay...with each other...they married...each other.

The conversation quickly spiralled, with inflammatory images and an outpour of dialogue among users. Memes, puns and genuinely frustrated messages poured into the replies.
.@mefeater omg at all the internet frenzy! I'm threw! Shoutout to my international fans tho, what language is this!? Aerobic? 😍 pic.twitter.com/yL26RxagUv

BuzzFeed news later got ahold of VeganMegan, who did not provide their real identity, but described themselves as male and open-minded. "I actually don't judge anybody irl. If I was American I would've voted for Hillary," they told BuzzFeed.
The Internet community has seemed to settle down a bit, and even VeganMegan seemed to enjoy their 15 minutes of fame.
