Here at SomersetLive we're at the heart of everything happening in the county. As we approach the General Election, we will be here on election night and how you can follow along for what looks set to be a dramatic night of results.

We had an in-depth look at all the seats, with a particular focus on those that could change hands. And in the newly-created seat of North East Somerset & Hanham could be one of the night's big moments, where Labour challenger and WECA mayor Dan Norris is hoping to unseat Tory grandee Jacob Rees-Mogg.

We will have an overnight newsdesk operating, plus journalists at the following counts: North-East Somerset and Hanham, North Somerset, Weston-super-Mare, Bath, Yeovil, and Glastonbury & Somerton. Our live coverage throughout Thursday night and into Friday morning will be comprehensive, accurate and quick - and we will be bringing the results from the counts we are not able to staff due to our staffing resources.
