'Do Something!': Protesters Shout at Trump's Motorcade Outside Dayton Hospital

A group of people chanted “Do something!” at President Donald Trump’s motorcade as it left a hospital in Dayton, Ohio, on Wednesday, August 7, following a shooting in the city that left at least 10 people dead.

Connor Betts, 24, opened fire in Ned Peppers bar in Dayton on Sunday. At least 10 people, including Betts, were killed in the attack, and 26 others were injured.

Trump visited the city on Wednesday to meet with law enforcement, first responders, and victims of the shooting, according to his Twitter feed.

This video shows a series of black SUVs and limousines driving out of Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton as people boo and shout “Do something!” at the vehicles. Police officers stand nearby.

A crowd of protesters in Dayton gathered earlier on Wednesday to call for stricter gun-control laws, accompanied by the “baby Trump blimp.”

More than $3,000 was raised in one day to bring the blimp from Chicago to Dayton for the protest, according to the protesters’ GoFundMe page.

Trump supporters drove through the streets of Dayton in large vehicles decked out in “Trump 2020” banners and other pro-Trump signage on Wednesday.
