Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner has returned to social media for the first time since becoming a parent alongside her husband Joe Jonas - for a good cause.

Riffing on the popular Vogue challenge that’s been making the rounds, the couple shared a photoshopped magazine cover which urged their fans to “wear a mask.”

Jonas shared the cover to his Instagram stories, which showed the couple both posing for the camera as Turner held up a peace sign and Jonas held his hand up close to his face, displaying his wedding ring.

They appeared to be sitting on a white couch at home. It is the first public photo of the couple together since the birth of their child.

The picture was overlaid with text that read “Vogue August Issue 2020” as well as the headline “Wear a mask that's the tea.”

Both Turner and Jonas have been seen wearing face masks in Los Angeles, where wearing a face covering in public is mandatory.

The rules on mask-wearing in the US have ignited outrage from some, as other stars including Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox and more have urged people to wear them.

Turner has been absent from social media since the birth of her and Jonas’ daughter, who is reportedly named Willa.

The last time she posted to Instagram it was to share pictures and videos from a Black Lives Matter protest she attended and captioned “No justice, no peace.”

Her husband has remained active on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok and recently shared a video poking fun at his brother Nick Jonas on the latter.

Sharing a picture of Nick in hoops and holding a champagne flute in a TikTok video yesterday, he joked that he didn’t see the resemblance between the pair.
