Dev, the insanely handsome star of The Newsroom, Slumdog Millionaire, and the Academy Award-winning Lion, has won us over more than ever lately by taking his mom as his date to the Oscars, picking up his co-star little Sunny Pawar for photo-ops, and just plain smiling and looking beautiful while doing it. While we’re happy to learn that he’s happy, it’s like, Dev, how could you? We thought we had something here?
Dev Patel is off the market and the sun is shining a little less bright today.

Before now, Dev had dated Slumdog co-star Frida Pinto until the relationship ran its course in 2014. Since then he’s been seemingly on the market, but who’s to say this new relationship hasn’t low-key been going strong for years?
